In order to further accelerate and expand the opening-up of education to the world, the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China established the International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research, and Application in 2018 to promote deep cooperation in industry, academia, research and application with more universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises worldwide, as well as to help build high-quality global partnership. Under this guidance, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University will hold the  the 2023 International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research, and Application (Forestry-Carbon Neutralization) on November 10-12th at the Jinshan Campus of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, aim to promote the development of forestry and multi-sector cooperation in countries along the Maritime Silk Road.

This conference focuses on forestry, concentrating on four major areas - biodiversity conservation, forest carbon sequestration, forest disaster prevention and control, and forest health care research progress. The event will integrate resources from domestic and international universities, industry enterprises and research institutions, to foster international industry-academia-research-application cooperation. The conference aims to promote practical cooperation in talent training, discipline construction, and technological innovation, while also supporting the realization of ecological civilization construction, green development strategy, and the Dual Carbon target.
